Lil' Dphat

DPhat is omnipotent, omnipresent and omnisexy!
But he wasn't born into privilege.Let us journey back in time, when he was but a Lil' DPhat.
Lil' DPhat was born in the gulf. But come the Gulf-War and his folks moved him back to India.
Grade 3.Lil' Dphat had to study in a school near his hometown in Kerala.
Only hindrance was Lil' Dphat didn't speak a word of Malayalam.Despite his mother's instructions to the teacher, communication wasn't feasible. He spoke English with a British accent as he'd studied at an O' Level School earlier. The 'Engleesh' of the teacher and his 'English' didn't quite mix and match.
There he was...a plump, rotund 'Gelf-baby' who couldn't utter a word in Malayalam.
Teachers glared at him envious of his crisp-clean clothes(courtesy his gulf stay),his scrawny classmates snivelled at him as there was no apparent dearth of nutrition where he came from and mean girls pinched his arm black and blue as he accidently dislodged them while sitting on the bench.
The icing on the cake was when he was asked to join his classmates for lunch.
They brought rice and curries in metal tiffin boxes.
He brought sandwiches in a plastic lunch box.
Having decided that they had put up with this aberration far long enough, his classmates asked him to follow them to show him something 'Special'.
They led a naive Lil' Dphat to the bottom of a tree. And shook the branches so hard that the wet leaves fell on him.And pushed him onto the wet ground that his shiny white shirt and navy blue pants were covered with slimy mud.

"I cried. As hard as I did the day I was born."
Lil' Dphat was Lil' no more.

Dphat left that school three years later.Top of the class since the day he arrived.Coached by mother at home in malayalam, he scored full marks for every Malayalam exam the school threw at him.

I know they think if people are rich, they're snobs. But you slapped that stereotype right across. You should be very proud of yourself and I'm sure you are.
